Over 20 years’ experience delivering energetic and engaging high-impact training and consulting to a wide variety of construction, educational, and professional services organizations worldwide. Between 1987 to 2004, concentrated on emerging technologies with special focus on streamlining user-efficiency. Clients include IT professionals, helpdesk and training staff, legal professionals, and all levels of end-users. 2004 to 2007 was devoted to communication-based training with an emphasis on presentation skills and the areas listed below. My background in speech communications, broadcast production, copy editing, instructional design and adult learning, were vital to this effort. Since 2008 I have been devoted to environmental sustainability training including helping people prepare to pass the LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) exam.

As an Adjunct Lecturer in the Intensive Language Institute, (Dept. of Continuing and International Education) I am involved in developing and delivering various classes as part of a Business Communication certificate program. Clientele consist mainly of business professionals who are developing their own business communication skill sets.

 

2004 – 2008  D/B/A High-Impact Training, Inc. | Bangalore, India

Provide technology and communication skills training in various sectors including financial, IT, advertising and call centers. Soft-skills training includes US cultural sensitivity, presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, voice and language including accent reduction, customer interaction skills, business etiquette, telephone, and email etiquette. Technology training included Microsoft-Office applications and technologies related to Microsoft Windows. I also have experience working with Ubuntu (Linux).
