A Professional Pivot

After nearly six years of leading hundreds of Corporate Sustainabilty and LEED workshopts across the globe for design, engineering, sustainability professionals, and government agencies (on behalf of the USGBC's top Education Partner) Greg has recently undergone a professional pivot.
  • June 2014, Greg launched a long-awaited, much-needed, and critically acclaimed course on the principles of sustainability and green building. LEED for ALL is a non-technical course on the principles of sutainabilty and communication. This hybridized course is informed by the framework of LEED. As opposed to being about LEED, 'L4A' focuses upon the USGBC's varied and underlying goals. As such, L4A is broader in scope and higher level than a typial LEED class, including elements ranging from environmental science to the business case sustainability. Participants leave conversant in the vernacular of corporate sustainability, the language of LEED, the essentials of climate literacy, and perhaps most importantly, the ability to communicate this knowledge to various stakeholder groups, in order to effect change.

CCL's mission is politcal will for a livable planet. CCL's goal: Encouraging our elected leaders to support a price on carbon emissions. (CCL's mission, explained) CCL's plan has support from both sides and was called the only viable solution to dealing with our carbon problem, in this recent Washington Post article. "Most impressive is the work of Citizens' Climate Lobby... If you want to join the fight to save the planet, to save creation for your grandchildren, there is no more effective step you could take than becoming an active member of this group." - Dr. James Hansen, CCL Board Member, Climate scientist, and former head of the NASA Goddard Institute.
